Rik Lander offers a one day course for producers and producer directors who are making cross-platform projects or wish to move into making cross-platform projects. It is an introduction to the practical skills required to oversee the creation of cross-platform projects – whatever the platforms.
As is appropriate for its subject matter, the course is highly interactive with the participants discovering many of the solutions in exercises rather than passively receiving instruction. It covers the day to day overseeing of projects and the bigger questions of how to create relationships with new partner organisations.

In 2010 he devised and ran The Essential 360 Storytelling Lab, a five day, hands on, exploration of the possibilities of cross-platform documentary and fiction creation. This concluded with a live IPTV transmission from the National Film and Television School to the Pervasive Media Studio in Bristol, where a live audience were able to test the interactive creations of the course participants. Excellent fun and very informative.
